Since the age of 15, when gifted his first camera…an iconic Nikkormat in 35mm, Tom has developed a deep love of photography. He has traveled the world finding and photographing the magic of our surroundings.
In support of Grace, Tom has generously gifted a number of his iconic Grace photographs to The Grace Club, and which are featured in the official biography of Grace, Grace Lives.
“Since moving to Palmetto Bluff in 2019, my wife and I have been captivated by Grace—a beautifully crafted, 100-year-old wooden boat that feels perfectly at home on the May River. Her elegance, history, and presence have inspired me both personally and as a photographer
For decades, Grace sailed the Intracoastal Waterway, and today she is a permanent and cherished part of the Lowcountry and our community. Watching her glide across the water evokes a sense of timeless beauty, and sailing on her is a one-of-a-kind experience everyone should enjoy. That’s why I’ve joined a dedicated group of members working to restore and preserve Grace, ensuring that future generations can share in her story and splendor.
In support of these efforts, I am donating a select number of Grace prints, which will be available to help fund her restoration.”
